Our Ponies

Tinkerbelle

Grey, 12h Welsh Mountain, Mare.  16 years old.

We have owned Tinky for 11 years and she has taught many children to ride.

Snowy 

Grey 12.2h Welsh Mountain, Gelding.  12 years old. Nearly identical to Tinky - except he's a boy!  We bought Snowy in September 2006.

Megan

Megan is a dapple grey Welsh type pony.  She is 13hh and is the youngest at only 10 years old.  She is an accomplished escape artist!

 

Maisie

Maisie is a blue roan 12hh Welsh mare.  She is 14 years old and is very cuddly. She is a magical pony as her coat changes colour throughout the year.

Lyric

Lyric is a 16.1 hh bay warmblood mare.  She is 16 years old and has competed at Elementary level dressage.  Our older (and taller) riders are enjoying learning to ride a larger horse.

Midget

Midget arrived with Lyric in June 2009.  He is an 11.2 bay Dartmoor gelding and moves beautifully. He has won in the show ring and is very responsive.  He has a very thick winter coat.  He is 13 years old.

Zaggle

In October 2009 we bought another pony for the school. Her name was Megan but we already had a Megan so she is now called Zaggle. She is a Welsh section D, 16 years old and 13.2 hh (Hands High). She is turned out with Lyric and loves to investigate every part of our paddocks.

Tom

Tom joined the stables in January 2011.  He is a handsome chestnut gelding aged 11 years.  He is 15.2 hands high.

Bob

Bob is our latest recruit and joined the stables in September 2011. He is another grey pony and is a bigger version of Megan.  He is 13.2 hands high and 16 years old. He is fast becoming a favourite with those who have ridden him.

Jack

Jack is our new stable cat and is very fluffy.  He is an excellent mouse catcher and delights in getting under your feet!  He is very affectionate and loves to be stroked, but beware, he will demand more strokes if you stop.
