Pony Parties

What is a Pony Party?

In general, a pony party will consist of getting to know the ponies, a bit of grooming and then fun and games riding the ponies in the outdoor arena.  The actual content is flexible and will depend on the number and age of the children and any requests that you might want to make.

How long does a Party last?

Usually between 60 to 90 minutes depending on the number of children.  We can take any number of children from 2 upwards, but would recommend a limit of 12.

Do you provide food and party bags?

No.  We could do but we think that you can probably do it better yourselves.  Our marquee is available for hire if you want to give a party tea at the stables.  However, you provide all the food and drink and must clear up and take away all rubbish.

How much does it cost?

Prices start from £60 for two children for an hour.  And, as an example, eight children would cost £150 and the party would last for one and a half hours.  Please phone or email for prices for any other number of children.  The marquee is available for a nominal charge of £5 for half an hour.

How do I book?

Please telephone to make a booking so that we can reserve a space in the diary and discuss exact prices and requirements.  A holding deposit of £20 (can be by cheque) is required in advance with the rest payable on the day. (In cash please, if we don't know you.)

What should the children wear?

Not party clothes!  Clothes suitable for riding and for the weather.  Leggings or tracksuit bottoms are fine and wellies are acceptable.  Children are not allowed to ride in trainers and jewellery should not be worn. Riding hats will be provided as part of the party.
